Sigh, our yearly autumn vacation is over.  It's back to normal schedules again.  It was great while it lasted.  Steve was able to get quite a bit of work done in the early part of the week and we enjoyed some drives to nowhere during the last half of the week.  Although, we did not have to leave our own back yard this year for glorious autumn foliage, everywhere that we went our breath was taken with all the brilliant colors New England is known for.  We have just reached the color peak here and by weeks end, we will be raking and preparing the yard and gardens for winter.

Now that I am home again and have most of my time by myself, it's time to roll up my sleeves and get some housework done.  I neglected most of my chores for the week and I am regretting it now. I am doing laundry at this writing and I have floors to vacuume and mop, linens to be changed, dusting and grocery shopping.  Between today and tomorrow, this should all be taken care of before another weekend hits us.

So......Back to the grind!
